• حمل الطفل والعناية به: تحمّلُ أمانةٍ أو مسؤوليةٍ تعود بخير.
• إرضاع الطفل: عطفٌ ورزقٌ وبرٌّ، ويقاربه اللبن في دلالة الرزق الصافي.
• طفلٌ جميلٌ وسيم: خيرٌ وسرورٌ وحُسنُ حال.
• للعزباء أو من لا ولد له: قد يعبّر عن أمنيةٍ أو بشارةٍ بمولودٍ أو مسؤوليةٍ جديدة.

الذكر والأنثى
