الموت في المنام لا يعني غالباً الموت الحقيقي، بل يرمز إلى تحوّلٍ أو توبةٍ أو نهاية مرحلةٍ وبداية أخرى، وقد يدل على طول العمر. وهي دلالاتٌ لا أحكامٌ قاطعة، والعلم عند الله.

• رؤية ميتٍ يموت من جديد: قد تدل على مصيبةٍ في أهله أو فرحٍ وزواجٍ في البيت.
• البكاء على الميت بلا صياحٍ: فرجٌ وراحةٌ بعد همّ.
