يدل المطر في المنام غالباً على الرحمة والخير العام والرزق والفرج بعد الشدة، فهو الغيث الذي تحيا به الأرض. وقد يختلف معناه إن كان مؤذياً أو خاصاً بموضعٍ دون غيره. وهي دلالاتٌ لا أحكامٌ قاطعة، والعلم عند الله.

حالات رؤية المطر

• المطر العام اللطيف على الناس والأرض: رحمةٌ وبركةٌ وخِصبٌ ورخاء.
• المشي تحت المطر أو الاغتسال به: تجدّدٌ وزوالُ همٍّ وبركةٌ تلحق الرائي، ويقاربه الاغتسال بالماء الطاهر.
• المطر بعد جفافٍ أو انتظار: فرجٌ قريبٌ وإجابة دعاء.
• المطر الغزير المؤذي أو السيل الجارف: همٌّ أو فتنةٌ أو سلطانٌ جائر بحسب القرائن.
• المطر على موضعٍ بعينه دون غيره: خيرٌ أو حدثٌ يخص أهل ذلك الموضع.
• الاحتماء من المطر: توقّي أمرٍ أو تحفّظٌ من تغيّرٍ قادم.

المطر والرزق

كثيراً ما يقترن المطر بالرزق ونماء الزرع وازدهار الحال، ويُستبشَر به في قضاء الحاجات — ومنه يُقال: نزل الغيث بعد القنوط. فإن صحب المطرَ خُضرةٌ ونباتٌ فذلك أبلغ في الخير.

Rain and provision

Rain is often tied to provision, the growth of crops, and flourishing circumstances, and is auspicious for needs being met — relief arriving after despair. If the rain is joined by greenery and growth, the good is all the stronger.
