تدل الشجرة في المنام غالباً على رجلٍ أو أصلٍ أو أمرٍ راسخ، والمثمرةُ منها خيرٌ ورزقٌ ونماء، والنخلةُ رجلٌ كريمٌ ذو علمٍ ونفع. وتختلف الدلالة بحسب نوع الشجرة وثمرها وحالها. وهي دلالاتٌ لا أحكامٌ قاطعة، والعلم عند الله.

• قطع الشجرة أو يبسها: فقدُ رجلٍ أو قطعُ أمرٍ أو ذهابُ خيرٍ كان قائماً.
• الزرع الأخضر والزهور: يُسرٌ وبركةٌ وصلاحُ حالٍ وفرحٌ قادم.
• الشجرة اليابسة بلا ثمر: رجلٌ أو أمرٌ لا خير فيه أو حالٌ يحتاج إلى إصلاح.
